Oni-Tachi, “The Demons” in Japanese, is a series of animated paintings inspired by traditional Japanese Hannya masks.

Short, 2-second loops seek to capture the expressiveness of a new historical moment, the current one, where internet aesthetics have changed the way we view art, identity, and expressiveness.

CIVIT, the creator of this series, is a painter, illustrator, and digital artist based in Barcelona, ​​Spain. He has been active in the crypto art scene since 2020, exhibiting his pieces on the first NFT platforms and participating in the first IRL NFT/digital art exhibitions in various cities around the world, including New York, London, Hong Kong, and Barcelona.
